Justice Kenny Griffis, Associate Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court, presented a donation on behalf of Century Club Charities to our Legal Aid Ministry. Executive Director, Lee Thigpen and Director of our Legal Aid Office, Carlyn Hicks accepted this generous donation to be used toward legal services for qualified applicants in need of civil law matters.
In addition, Philip Carpenter of Century Club Charities presented a check to Peyton’s House. Lee Thigpen, Peyton’s House Director Rafael Jackson, and Mission First Board Member Pamela Houchins gratefully accepted the donation. These funds will support cross-cultural experiences including field trips, retreats, and service opportunities for the 6th-12th grade boys in our after school program with the purpose of promoting spiritual, educational, and relational growth for our young men.
We want to give a special to thanks to Century Club Charities and Sanderson Farms Championship for assisting not just one but two of our areas of ministry that will greatly benefit from these gifts!
